Special: Caves of the Death #3

  "Follow them!" Tony 'ordered' in a strong voice that was never been heard in him before,"It's just a huge bat!" Unusually, Tha didn't make any objections. It was very rare of her to agree with Tony's decisions, but this was not the important case that time.
  We followed Nathaniel Alden. The bat was flying quite slow as if taunting us to go nearer.However, the girls and Tony and of course their pets as well  kept a distance from Nathaniel Alden and the bat. The girls, Tony and their pets followed as silently as they could, not wanting them to know they were followed.
  The wierdest was Nathaniel seemed comfortable to be carried. Perhaps, it was just their imaginations.
  They led us deeper and deeper into darken and darker caves. At last, they reached a dead end.
  We'd conered them finally. Tha thought.
  Suddenly, the bat with Nathenial Alden, disappeared! In front of their very own eyes! It was hard to believe! Natalie and Jen gasped in horror.
  No way! I'm going to check it out. Tony was not going to give up that easily.
  Tony walked to the place where they disappeared.  The girls followed behind. They checked every piece of rock and every square root of the floor. There must be a secret door, tunnel or even some magical transport! However, nothing strange was to be found under every piece of stone and every square root of the ground.
  Jen even tried:" Open! Sesame door!"
  Nothing happened in the exception for the long echoes of door.
  Tha and Nat laughed very hard. Natalie laughed until her stomach ached, she used the wall of the caves for some surpport.  She stopped laughing. Her stomach stopped aching. She walked back a few steps from the wall.  
  "Look! "Nat exclaimed.
  Her face was white. Her voice was wierd. But perhaps it was just because her tremendous laughing.
  The others glanced towards where Nat was pointing. In the dark, there was something brownish-red glowing on the wall. It was ancient cave drawings. The drawings could be easily understood by anyone.
  The first drawing style signals a group of men, tied to each other. Above, there drew a man sitting on a flying object with huge wings. The others were blurred, but there was a skull with two crossing bones drew very clearly.
  It was the signal of death.
  Velvet and Viron, cats of Tha and Nat meowed terrifically in a sudden.
  Below where they meowed, lay a pile of yellowed bones and hair.

Caves of Death
Chapter 2
  "Who's that?" The mysterious man asked again. Another torch was seen in dark, it was his.
  Their eyes met.
  The mysterious man seemed surprise, no one would not be surprised to see four person teamed with so many pets along.
  Meanwhile, Tony seemed like he freaked out. Or maybe freaked out in JOY?
  "Nathaniel!"Tony ran and hugged the mysterious man.
  He was Nathaniel? Don't care, after all we can finally get out of here.Nat thought.
  Surely, Nathaniel was shocked. Every one would when a stranger came hugging you and calling you by your name.
  "Tony?"Nathaniel guessed.
  "Yes! I can't believe that you are still alive!" Tony was so happy until he looked like he was going to burst into tears.
  "Touching,but lame." commented Tha. No good words would came out from Tha if it's for Tony. It couldn't be blamed since they were enemies since they were seven.
  "Kay, Tony. You've found your friend,and now can we leave this caves now?" Jen asked.
  "Sure thing!" Tony answered.
  "No,you can't. I've tried to leave here too." Nathaniel stopped them.
  "Why?" Since there was an entrance,there must be an exit too.Natalie thought.
  "Because......"Before Nathaniel could finish his answer, a gigantic bat flew past us and took Nathaniel with it!
  "Ahh!!"Jen screamed.
  The bat was way bigger than any bats we seen in our entire life--- it was bigger than any bats in that heap.
  "Nathaniel!!"Tony called for him. The person he found a minute ago dissapeared a minute later.How pity.
  If curiosity kills the cat, whereas only satisfaction can bring it back. Tony wasn't satisfied for just finding his childhood friend for a blink of eye only.

#8: Trapped

ps. this is Jen's POV.

  "We better get out of here!!!" said Trick with his voice quavering. His eyes were full with fear.
  Everybody dashed to find the nearest exit.
  " Hey, where's the door?!" Tony exclaimed as the door that supposed to be there disappeared.
  "Obviously the exit's gone! How stupid." Tabitha snickered as she rolled her eyes.
  " What are we going to do?" cried Natalie in despair "It's all your fault, Tony! Look at all the trouble you caused! " She continued.
  "Excuse me! The trouble I caused? Who was the agreeing with my bet earlier huh?" Tony was defending himself.
  "Okay! Gawd! Stop the fight! We gotta get out of here before something worst happens!" Jen cried.
 " This place looks like a maze.." Tabitha said as her voice trailed off when the metal doors shake and screams were heard once again.
  Shivers were running down up and down their spine as the criminals scream in pain were to be heard as if they were terribly abused.
  "Remember what the beggar told us? This prison has been here during the World War II... and the souls of the abused to death did not rest in peace and came back for vengeance!" Tabitha said worriedly.
 "That old beggar's theories are nonsense only." Tony snickered.
 "After all these ghostly figures appearing and you still don't believe in the beggar? How stubborn can you get??" Jen exclaimed.
  " REVENGE" He said with a high tone as a wicked smile spread through Trick. His eyes were different, it wasn't the ordinary brown, it was as red as blood.......

The following is by Tabitha

  "Uh-oh. The fox has gone wild." Natalie sighed dryly. "And it's not like we can just shoot him."
  "You think you can escape from me? I'm sorry, no." A voice spoke. We froze. However, the voice was not Trick's, nor whatever thing that currently inhabited his body. It was another one. The one that caused us to panic and ran just now.
  The threat was not headed to us. We soon understood this when Trick turned from us abruptly and glared at the voice's direction. There was something in his glare, an expression difficult to understand or explain. Unreadable. It was hatred. Pure hatred. Yet there was also fear. "No? No? NO? NO!" It screamed with that earsplitting high voice. The two creatures terrorizing us had distinctly different voices. The 'voice', still unseen, is male but sweet-sounding with some laughing edge to it, as if it was enjoying itself; while the thing haunting Trick is screeching kind of mindlessly.
  A corner of a red cloak showed from the corner. The voice's owner walked slowly towards us, or rather Trick, to be precise. His face, pale, twisted into an evil laugh, the fangs showing...

Special: Caves of Death-Chap1

This is a special story different from "The Haunted Prison" The characters are almost the same except for the absence of Trick. Actually, this story was written last year, but I editted some boring parts and type it out. Enjoy!~

Caves of Death
Chapter 1
  "Are you sure? It's dangerous!" Tabitha said. Anxiously.
  They were planing to go on a trip with our pets, but the only travel set that allowed to bring our pets along is a trip to the famous 'Caves of Death' in Bali.(I don't think it really existed,LOLS)
   Exploring the six caves are very dangerous. Many people disappeared mysteriously every year. When they are found, they are dead. That's not the scariest part, because the bodies looked as if it was sucked in. Not only are there human corpses,but also animal bodies! Some of them had already rotted away into bones!
  "Relax Tha! It's just rumours!" Tony replied. Tha rolled her eyes.
  The decision at last was to go.

  A few hours flight to Bali, and a few hours drive to the caves. The driver seemed to have heard the rumours before and left us at a place quite far from the caves. Without any choices left, we had to walk. Tony was so excited all the way long.
  Nat and her cat,Vironica, Tha and her cat,Velvet, Jen,Tony and his dog,Sebestian reached their final destination.
  The minute they stepped into the cave, Tha knew something wasn't right. It was just ......so creepy and too quite. The caves were echoing the sound they made only.....The atmosphere was abnormal. For example, there was not a bat to be seen--- at least not at the openning.
  " I think we'd better go out. This is place is making me uncomfortable." exhaled Jen.
  But, Tony refused.
  " No, I wanted to get to the bottom of this!"
  It was so unlike his usual self. Tha thought. But it was none of her business, she forgot that immediately.
  "If you are afraid, then go back! Scaredy cats!" Tony continued.
  Viron and Velvet seemed to understand Tony's words and meowed angrily at him. Being teased as scared,their mistresses were angrier than their pets, they even shivered in anger. But, Tony thought that they were shivering in fear.
  Nat and Tha walked deeper into the caves with their pets, Jen followed them,leaving Tony behind. Just to show that they weren't afraid.
  After ten minutes of their adventure in the 'Caves of Death',much to their dissapointment, they found nothing. Not even another people adventuring like them.
  Natalie felt Viron was uneasy. Viron's fur was standing up. Viron was looking to the left although she was walking straight. Nat followed her cat's sight.
  Suddenly, Nat who was standing by the most left gasped. She pointed her finger to a heap of unclear things to the left, closing her nose. They finally found something other than rocks.
  It looked exactly like a heap of rocks. But the closer you go, the clearer you get the creepy image, the thicker that rotten foul smell get.
  It was a heap of bat corpses. It seemed like the bats were killed and was grouped into a heap. But that's not the wierdest, because the bats were all longer than a metre, their wing span was about 3metres! It was way larger than how a normal bat should be! It was bigger than an eagle!
  Maybe the rumours are real after all......
  Tha ewwed in digust. Jen looked as if she wanted to throw out. But different from the others, Tony seemed to become more exciting than before. But a different type of excited that normal people had. Well, the usual he is abnormal enough already.
  "Let's go deeper!!" He suggested.
  "You are strange today."exclaimed Nat."Why did you wanted to get to the bottom of the caves so badly?" Vironica meowed after her mistress. Even Viron felt something is wrong with Tony.
  Tony ignored Nat's question and continued his adventure. Jen followed him immediately. Not to adventure the cave further more, but to run away from that smelly rotten bats. She wouldn't want to puke there of course.
  As Nat and Tha couldn't leave their friend,(Jen ONLY, Tony is surely not considered a friend to Tha<I might be killed in real life by Tha if I didn't add this"Jen only"> ) they followed the other two and a dog.
  Out of the blue, Tony started to talk. "It was my neighbour, a childhood friend of mine." With a quite sad sound. The others were surprised for his sudden answer.
  "He was missing. Here." He continued.
   "So?He might have died." Tha felt no pity for Tony, or his whatever childhood friend. "Since there had been many before him."
  " I am finding for him!Even if he became bones."Tony answered Tha's question.
  That explains why he was wierder than usual.
  "His name is Nathaniel Aldon. He loved exploring. This was the last place he explored." Tony continued.
  A silence was formed in the darkness of the caves. They continued walking, Tony continued his finding for corpses,to be exact, Nathaniel's corpse.
  A bark broke the silence. It was Sebestian.
  Something was not right.
  The gravity was changing its place!A little by little, and becoming faster and faster. A dark hole existed from no where. Small rocks were sucked into it, their clothes and hair was being pulled to the hole as they watched the hole in horror.
  Imaginations flew wild in that spilt second...
  Sucked in, corpses, bones, DEATH.
  "Helppppp!!!"
  Yelling for help was all they could do.
  Their minds were blank because of fear as they were drawn closer and closer to the hole. They tried to grab something, a big rock or whatever else. But there were nothing close enough.
  "Meowwww.................."
  It was the last echo.

  Black. Pitch-black. Total silence.
  Nothing else.
  Am I alive?Where am I?Are the others all right?How's Viron?
  Natalie was on the ground after entering that black hole.
  "Tha? Jen? Viron?" she wondered if they were with her.  Or to be exact, she wished them to be here.Even if it was just a cat. No one wants to be left alone in such a creepy place.
  She sat on the ground. She got no answer. Totally helpless. Lost of hope.
  A light was to be seen in the dark in a sudden. The change was too big and sudden. She closed her eyes naturally.
  She opened her eyes slowly.
  Someone was pointing the light to her. Who will it be? A friend or a foe?
  It was Tha! Nat cried happily and hugged her best friend, Tha.
  "Nat! Are you fine?"
  "Yes. I'm glad you came!"
  Tha observed the surroundings. Nat switched on her torchlight that she forgotten a minute ago.
  Nat sniffed the air. Smell stinks, but not rotten.
  "What's this horrible smell?" Nat asked in disgust.
  "Bat poo.I suspose." Tha looked at the ground. Velvet was just by her side.
  Nat saw Velvet. She remembered about her Viron.
  "Have you seen Viron? Or maybe Jen and the others?" Nat asked, worrying about her cat and friends.
  "Nah, when I woke up all I knew is Velvet licking me, waking me up. Then we went on a search, and the first was you." Tha's answer wasn't satisfying.
  Footsteps were heard after Tha's answer. The footsteps were echoing and confused Nat and Tha for finding the direction of sounds.
  What should they do? Should they hide themselves? Or be prepare to run?
  Before they could discuss and end up with a conclusion, two torches were to be seen.
  "Meow!"
  It was Viron! Nat recognised her meow.
  Nat,Tha,Jen,Tony and their pets met up.
  They were so relieved and happy,but not Tony.
  "Let's get out of here!"Jen suggested.
  "Sure!" Nat wouldn't want to stay in this cave another second.
  "I agree. But HOW? We are lost." Tha dug out her compass from her bag pack. But the compass was not working. There's something wrong with the magnetic field around here.
  "No, we can't leave yet. I haven't found Nathaniel's body." Tony was very determined. Annoyingly determined to find that body.
   "
  They continued walking without a destination set. The girls hoped to get out, but the boy wanted to hunt more.
  "Who's that?" a man's voice was echoed in the caves......

#7: Amethyst Necklace

Okay, Natalie here.Before starting the chapter, I am here to say SORRY because we had stopped posting for almost... erm , just a long time. I don't know the exact time either... Well, I don't think anyone is REALLY following us..HAHA. The followers are actually our ourselves. We stopped posting because of one problem, NO ONE wants to continue!(To JEmembers: Don't give me excuses like busy or don't know how to continue!! Hey, this chapter shouldn't be me continuing,KAY? )


  "Hey Nat, what are you daydreaming about?" An annoying voice spoke.
  Natalie's friends had walked 10 steps away, Trick turned his back and asked. The others followed.
  "None of your business." Natalie rolled my eyes.
  Natalie quickened my foot steps to my friends, not letting them have a chance to leave her alone by accidentally or purposely.
  The journey seemed to become shorter than before.
  It was the necklace which shone and saved them. This time, the necklace was leading them to the exit without letting them noticing. But, Nat realized this. This couldn't be stopped since she was wearing the necklace.
  Why would necklace shine? We could exit this prison so successfully, because of this necklace? Natalie thought.
   "Amethyst." Natalie spoke out. Her friends looked at her suspiciously.
   The next second, the amethyst necklace twinkled.
   This necklace is something! Natalie concluded. She let out a smile as she saw her friends staring at her necklace at amazement.

  "So, are we going home now?" Trick yawned.
  "Oh yeah? Coward fox?" Some creature snickered.
  "I don't see why not. We've encountered enough danger, all thanks to you!" Jen snapped.
  "Yeah well..." he didn't get to continue. All of a sudden Jen perked up.
  "Something's wrong." Tabitha whispered. Jen, Natalie and Trick nodded. Everyone's eyes focused on Natalie's necklace. It glowed in a strange creepy way, as if there was something it hated very near. It began to pulse.
  "A sign of danger." Natalie's voice was hoarse.
  "Blood." A voice rang out, out of nowhere. "Blood." Something was there, just turn the corner... Something not even the necklace have the ability to fight, no.

#6:Shadow of HUNGER

  The sun was already on the sky. Natalie could barely see a girl's shadow beside me, Tha. "How were we separated with them?" Natalie asked Tha.
  "Not so sure,but we have to find them."Tha replied calmly. Natalie couldn't imagine what she will became if she was alone,lost in this prison. They kept quiet,so they could hear even the slightest sound as their smallest hint to find them.

  "Any clue?" Jen asked the two boys. Jen was hoping them to nod,but unfortunately they shook their heads.  Where was them? Jen thought.
 " I am starving... Do you have any food??" Tony asked.
 " Me too..Jen" Trick continued.
Just then, a black shadow appeared before their eyes. The temperature lowered down immediately.They stared as the black shadow was moving nearer and nearer. They tried to run. But,they were just simply froze.
AAAAAaaaahhhhHHHHHH...............


  "Ahhhhhhhhhh..................." a scream was heard.The scream echoed.
  Tha looked at Natalie. Natalie turned to Tha at the same time. They noticed something. The scream was from JEN! They run towards the sound. They weren't very far from them.
  They were just behind the three of them. " What happened??" Natalie asked as she hadn't notice the black shadow was just 10centimeters in front of them.
  Tha poked Natalie. Natalie turned to the black shadow.
  "The shadow of HUNGER!" Natalie remembered. It was a legend that was said by her grandmother.She remembered her grandmother saying to her while she was young:"If you said you're hungry in the haunted prison,the shadow of HUNGER will seek for you. It will not be any harm to you if you make no noise, Because the SUN will protect us. But,if you scream you will be in great danger."
   Jen screamed......Great danger.....It's real....
   Suddenly, a purple light shone. It was so bright until all of them closed our eyes.
   When they open our eyes again, the shadow......was gone.  They were relieved.  Tha,Jen and Nat hugged each other happily.
   Natalie felt something warm. She looked at my Amethyst necklace my grandmother gave her . It was glowing. GLOWING. Was the purple light which saved them from my Amethyst necklace??

#5: Where am I?

<Tabitha's side> 
  I woke up. "Nat? Jen? Trick?"
  No reply.
  Yawn. I sat up. I can't remember anything that happened last night. The last thing I heard... was? Oh ya. Screaming. Us. But I forgotten why.
  No. Something happened after that. What? Someone spoke to me and Nat. Who? Dunno.

<Natalie's side>
  I fainted? Ya, apparently. Looked around. What? I couldn't find my friends! Where are they? Why am I here? "Come with me." Who said that? To me and... Tha, if I wasn't mistaken. But who?

<The others' side>
  "Trick! You seen Nat and Tha?" a worried Jen shouted at Trick.
  "NO! I only woke up now, because you shouted." Trick rubbed his eyes."What's it for, so early? The vampire is still sleeping. Need I wake him like you did to me?" He grinned evilly.
  "No time for tricks. Tha and Nat is missing!" Jen snapped.
  Slowly the trio tried to relate what happened.
  "Conclusion: We somehow all lost consciousness last night. The other girls are missing. We will now search for them." Jen sighed.

#4: Night In The Prison

  Everyone shocked and didn't made any noise. No sound left except the sound of Jewel Element group members' breathing.

  "Ah!!!" Trick screamed loudly in a sudden.Natalie smacked him like an unconditioned reflex.

  "How can we go out... How can we go out..." murmured Jen.

  "Be careful. The prison maybe has some traps." Tabitha said calmly.

  "This is supernatural!" Tony said.

  Suddenly, they heard a yell again.Their face turned as pale as a ghost again."Search for the exit!" Tabitha ordered.Jen lead everyone to search for the exit.

  At last, they didn't found it.

  "What can we do?!"Trick cried like a little baby.Everyone wanted to beat him but they endured.

  "Look at that!" Tony found something.He pointed to a place.

  "BLOOD!" Natalie said.

  "Right! We smelled it since we went into this prison but we were too shock and forgot to investigate." Tabitha remembered.

  "It seemed fresh." Jen concluded after taking observing it closely. 

  "Maybe it was just from someone a few hours ago." Trick said like a detective, his face swelled because of Natalie's strong smack.

  Sleeping in the prison at night was very horrible and creepy. It's completely dark.We couldn't see anything.
  When we were going to sleep,Tabitha felt someone scratched her and asked the others angrily:"Who scratched me?"

"Not me!" Tony answered quickly.

"We three were far from you." Natalie said.

"That means......"

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
